“Yes,” he confirms, unusually patient, like he was expecting Yaku to not take in this information easily.

“Why?” Yaku doesn’t get it. “Why would you willingly choose a random place on Earth instead of your home?” Instead of me, of us? “Why put yourself in danger when the world is… like this?”

Nishinoya smiles, looking like he was just waiting for this specific question to come up. “Because it’s up to us to change it.”
